Congratulations!!!  Your group – Darrell Elmer Rodgers & Rick Heyman – has been selected to perform at the 2009 Tucson Folk Festival. You have been scheduled for the following location and time:

Day: SUN                                Date and Time:   2009-05-03 18:00:00

Stage: Museum                     All sets are 25 minutes unless otherwise noted

 Selection Committee Statement: All bands were rated using a blind listening by an impartial set of judges. No members of any applicant bands were on the committee. All bands were selected and scheduled based on the final score ranking, then the variety of band members to avoid redundancy, and then availability. No other criteria were used. Any submittals received past the posted deadline were not considered.

… Schedule finalization will be made on March 28^th, 2009…

…Each year our grand raffle prize is a full set of CDs from each performer at the festival.  We are requesting (not required – but appreciated!) that each performer donate one CD for the raffle…  

…KXCI-FM will broadcast the weekend performances from the Plaza Stage on a tape-delayed basis.  Those of you playing on the Plaza Stage will also be required to sign a broadcast release form for KXCI…

…TKMA will have photographers taking pictures throughout the festival. These photos will be used on websites both by the photographers and TKMA. All band members will be required to sign a photo release form…

Well friends, Mark your calendars for May 2 & 3, for the Tucson Folk Festival, but high-light 6PM on Sunday 3 May to be at the Museum Stage to see Me and Rick performing some of my original songs.

Now all we need do is finish the CD in time to sell a few!
