Live Performance #3 – “If That Ain’t Crazy”

Back in 1979, I wrote this song, “If That Ain’t Crazy”, after hearing a series of news stories on radio and television.  It seemed that the world was getting fanatical.  As we performed the song thirty-two years later, much has changed, but much remains the same.  I hope the racism decried in the song is somewhat lessened, but it seems the “break your face” part has gotten worse.  All in all, I have to say, the song still applies. I mistakenly made this video wide-screen format forgetting that did not fit well on my page.  Tell me if it looks better or worse than the previous videos.

I wasn’t satisfied with my performance on this one. Fumbling a bit with cold fingers on the gutar, and straining to sing loudly (sacrificing tone), it was Michael and Rick that enabled us to get it done in a fun way that had folks dancing. And after all, at an outdoor festival, isn’t it the FUN we’re all there for?
