NEW SOUND TRACK FEATURING RICK HEYMAN ON BASS!
I wrote this song last week, moved by the imagery surrounding Memorial Day commemorations at the Veterans’ Cemetery. The song says it all – Haven’t we planted enough of these stones?
We really have been at this veterans’ cemetery business a long time. As a veteran and a father, I hope and pray that the world will soon come to its senses sufficiently for mankind to recognize that war is never necessary. It has often been inevitable, but never has it been necessary if humanity were only mature enough to seek peaceful solutions. Meanwhile, our young men and women in uniform remain in harms way, at our bidding.
May God bless and protect them all.
Wow, really like this; and yes, had to go get the Kleenex box!
Thanks. I’m glad you liked it and glad I warned you!
Good job Darrell. Funny thing. Never seen anything grow out of these stones, planted in rows like corn.
Right Dale. Only cut flowers and the occasional flag.
